As part of our recent initiative to simplify and unify the DeviantArt experience, we're looking into new and easier ways to find help you find deviants you want to interact with.
We recently posted this question in the Forums to get a sense for how best to improve these circumstances, and now we're interested in hearing from the community at large.

Introducing thoughtART Technology
A few years ago, deviantART teamed up with several university laboratories across the United States, and we are proud to finally announce the fruits of our efforts. Thanks to recent advancements in neurological science, we're unveiling a revolutionary new platform in artistic creation. Our device uses touch-sensitive pads built into your existing keyboard and mouse to monitor your brainwaves and transmit them directly to our site. Excited? Welcome to the new age of th
Ok so for those who don't know, I'm now living with my dad. However, i am not fully settled in because 1. My little sister has hijacked my old one and my new one isn't clean at all yet (doing it tomorrow) and 2. I need to go shopping for clothes (i only have 5 shirts and 2 pairs of jeans.).
Due to this i may not go into doing commissions quite yet since i lost literally everything except my tablet and ps3. My little sister is letting me use her laptop for art until we get our new desktop(my dad is making an art studio upstairs jad that desktop will be there.)
Anyway all is good and I'm happier than I've ever been in 11years.

dAmn It To Be Phased Out
The deviantART community is always growing and changing. To keep the site fresh and relevant, we need to focus on what's important. Recently, we've been going through site features and settings to assess usage, traffic, community reception, and how the feature helps contribute to deviantART's goals.
dAmn It,
Deviation pages are one of the most visited areas of deviantART. With hundreds of millions of deviations to view, and 65 million people browsing the site each month, we want to ensure that navigating deviation pages is as seamless as possible, allowing visitors to get the most of their viewing experience.
What's new?
All deviation details, like an artwork's description, submission information, stats, and sharing options, now appear directly beneath the deviation. (When viewing your own artwork, the Edit and Delete buttons also appear beneath the art, so you no longer have to search the sidebar to find essential tools.)

We've just launched an integration of Sta.sh Writer into comments on deviantART to Beta Testers! As you may know, Sta.sh Writer allows rich text editing of literature and journal deviations on deviantART, and we are excited to expand this functionality to more areas of the site. Once beta testing is complete, some aspects will be available to all members, while others will be limited to Premium Members.
The new "Add Media" button allows rich text editing and multiple other features to be employed on these comments. Not only does it improve on functionality that already exists in comments, it also pulls in the full power of the Sta.sh Writer
